Michael Marques is a visual strategist based in Hartford, Connecticut.

Starting his career as a portrait photographer in the editorial field, it was always the path taken to the produce the image versus the image itself that was appealing.

Being a collaborator in a narrative enables all involved to grow and create more impactful content.

When not on assignment, his efforts do not stray far from the creative field. As the founder of Arbor Light Studio and as a board member of the Connecticut Art Directors Club, Michael always strives to evolve his vision and  to help create conditions that allow other creatives to grow.

We are so oversaturated with content, it is often difficult to discern what matters. We live in a society where steady output is valued over quality and this jeopardizes the impact we can make.

Often, content creators are brought in later in the creative to produce the visuals needed. How much further can we push the narrative if our conversations start earlier in the process?
