World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the largest media production companies in the world. I have had the pleasure to travel around the world for them documenting their brands for over 17
years. To say that it's a fast paced environment would be stating it lightly.
“Photographing for the WWE requires a unique skillset. Since most of our work is done within the parameters of our live TV shows, working within this atmosphere requires the ability and mindset to adapt quickly. On any given day, we will shoot a still life, studio portraits, behind-the-scenes coverage of everything backstage, and the action from the actual show to convey the spectacle of our events. The days are long and the ‘talent’ for the WWE can have larger than life personalities. Therefore, we rely on a small core team of photographers that are skilled within each of these platforms. We need visual artists who can work in a mutually creative environment, truly understand our brand, and be able to accommodate and produce within the always shifting demands of a large scale, global entertainment company.”
